Letter : Dublin, Ireland, to Sir Lawrence Parsons, 1799 Jan 12.

ALS in which Charlemont expresses his concern regarding the apathy of the Irish people "at the present desperate Crisis of our Fate as a Nation," and his pleasure in reading that Parsons has called a meeting of his county (presumably to discuss with his constituents the plan by William Pitt to unite the British and Irish parliaments). With a typed transcript. Accompanied by an undated fragment of an ALS regarding his debts and signed, "My Dear Philip, your ever faithful and truly affectionate Charlemont."
